Myrrhee Primary School are one of our local schools participating in the Social Enterprise in Schools program. They are well on their way to creating their own social enterprise with a movie screening of ‘Oddball’ taking place this month. Through this project the students have taken on leadership roles and responsibilities as they work together to coordinate the event. The school is raising money for the local wildlife rescue as well as the Middle Island Maremma Project which the movie is based on.

Being involved in this project is a great way of demonstrating to students what’s involved in the operation of a business, including developing skills in marketing and managing finances.
