Philanthropy Australia are looking  for up to 20 current and emerging Australian social enterprise leaders to explore “local traditions and fresh perspectives” at the Social Enterprise World Forum 2019, in Addis Ababa.

The SEWF is the leading forum for international exchange and collaboration in social entrepreneurship and social investment. It is the main platform for learning, sharing of good practice, ideas and creating partnerships for the social enterprise sector.

The British Council is hosting the Social Enterprise World Forum (SEWF) 2019 in Addis Ababa on 23 – 25 October 2019. As the forum enters its second decade, hosting it in Ethiopia provides a unique opportunity to create a truly global social enterprise movement that can share experience, build networks and deliver solutions for a more inclusive and sustainable future for all.

This year Philanthropy Australia, the English Family Foundation and Social Traders have developed the SEWF 2019 Bursary Fund. Just as for the 2017 bursary fund these partners are collaborating to realise the incredible opportunity presented by SEWF 2019.
