We're so excited to be hosting the 2022 Social Enterprise World Forum Rural Gathering this week. The Rural Gathering is all about accelerating community-led rejuvenation through social enterprise. Thanks to Uncle Allan Murray and Uncle Phil Murray for offering a wonderful Welcome to Country and smoking ceremony this evening at Old Beechworth Gaol. Tomorrow we begin a two immersive field trip across North East Victoria to meet founders of social enterprises that are addressing local issues and creating opportunities. This first ever Rural Gathering in the Southern Hemisphere is being supported by Bendigo Bank, Department of Jobs, Precincts and Regions and FRRR.
