Social Enterprise Schools is a student-led program that fosters enterprise learning by doing, where students take the lead.![]()
Run over a year, several terms or within a term, Social Enterprise Schools is built on asking two questions for students: what do you care about? and how will you make change happen?![]()
All NSW Department of Education primary and secondary schools are invited to register their interest. Applications close for Round 1 on 8 February 2024.![]()

Young entrepreneurs get a boost from the Surf Shack.
Student entrepreneurs from Mallacoota P12 College have masterfully designed and produced a product for outdoor adventure loving locals and visitors called ‘Coota Sun - Surf Screen’ and the Surf Shack Mallacoota is now stocking the item!
Mallacoota P12 VCE Vocational major students, are taking part in the Social Enterprise Schools program proudly supported by the Wilderness Collective. Delivered by the Australian Centre of Rural Entrepreneurship (ACRE), Social Enterprise Schools is a collaborative, hands-on program that empowers young people across the globe to make a difference to causes they care about through running their own social enterprise. The students chose to support families that endured the Vanuatu cyclone with the profits they generate from sales of Coota Sun. ![]()
